This circular Dry/Wet Well has an internal radius of 4.5m and a wall thickness of 0.3m. It is 8.7m high and was constructed in 4 pours utilizing 2.4m panels from the Reflex curved wall formwork system in jumpform mode. RMD’s Reflex is an adjustable panel system that is quickly and easily adjusted for all curved concrete walls.
Reflex panels were connected on top of each other to achieve the height.
MK Construction Services also constructed the Overflow Tank which is 4.25m high, has an external radius of 9.3m and a wall thickness of 0.3m. This tank was constructed in 1 pour utilizing 2.4m high Reflex panels connected on top of each other to achieve the height.
RMD’s Rapidshor shoring system, which was easy to install due to its snap on components.
The Dry / Wet Well also contains an internal wall constructed with conventional formwork using RMD’s Superslim Soldiers. Roof slabs will be constructed on both tanks which will be conventionally formed and supported by RMD’s Rapidshor shoring system, which was easy to install due to its snap on components.
